HR professionals in Singapore who want to step out of the admin rut and take on a more valuable role in the business can now tap on a new programme that funds the redesign of their work.

HR Tech Transformation Programme to benefit 50 firms, over 250 local professionals

The HR tech transformation programme has been scaled up to support 50 companies. This follows a successful pilot launched in 2020, covering 10 firms. Under the programme, businesses in Singapore may receive funding of up to $30,000 for consultancy services in redesigning jobs. A self-help toolkit to help HR professionals better understand the various tech tools that might suit their workplace has also been rolled out. The interactive platform is available on the Singapore National Employers' Federation website.

Through the former, work processes will also be reviewed to streamline administrative or transactional tasks to improve productivity. Meanwhile, the latter is a broad-based interactive tool that will help HR 'self-help at scale' for HR job roles.
